Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on regular items, custom, sale items or gift cards. This also applies to Janome sewing machines and accessories.
Although we do not support exchanges as a rule, we may be able to help you if what you have ordered does not meet your requirements. Any action is subject to our Terms of Service and we reserve the right to refuse any exchange or refund at our discretion.
We do not allow returns consequently we do not provide refunds as per our Terms of Service. This applies to both our products and services.
We do not accept returns on sewing machines nor do we provide refunds or exchanges except for warranty issues. All sewing machines brought in for repair must be picked up no later than three weeks after the work has been completed.
Class/Workshop Cancellation / Refund Policy
100% of the class/workshop cost is non refundable. Should Make Sew Create cancel a class or workshop there will, however, be a full refund
Should you have to cancel your enrollment in a class/workshop we require a minimum notice of 48 hours before the start date of the class that you will be unable to attend
- If you have given us the proper notice, then 100% of the fee you paid can be used as a credit toward future class/workshops
- Credits are valid for 1 year from the date of the the class/workshop cancellation
If you cancel within the 48 hour window and prior to the class start, there will be a $25 fee. We will do our best, in this case, to schedule one make-up class, when necessary, but it may not be possible in every circumstance. In either case there will be no refund.
There will be no refunds or store credits for students who drop out or do not show up for their class/workshop.
Please note that it is your responsibility to attend your classes and arrive on time.
