“Today two members of “The Town Parents” (TTP) make their trip home. Although it’s not ideal to be flying right now, we’re taking the best precautions that we can and will be in quarantine when we arrive in Vancouver. We received these lovely handmade masks (featuring a wired nose piece and a slot to replace the filter, also can be washed) as a gift from “The Town Parents” for our departure. They were made by a small business in Ottawa called “Make Sew Create.” We are happy for the fact that we can both protect ourselves and others without taking supplies away from the medical community right now AND also use the opportunity to support the small businesses during this crisis.
